Triple Security Cloak Room system, with Lost Property Manager TM
Cloakscan is the world’s first biometric coat-check cloakroom and lost property management system. Cloakscan quickly registers a biometric fingerprint and simultaneously records a video still of the transaction as customers leave their personal belongings, saying goodbye to lost tickets, insurance claims, stolen items, agitated customers, cloakroom bottlenecks, re-sold ticket fraud and expensive ticket consumables.
Developed to eradicate the loss of cloakroom tickets, Cloakscan's cutting-edge software also prevents cloakroom bottlenecks at hotels, event venues, museums, restaurants, clubs and bars due to its incredible rapidity. What's more, its astounding accuracy means customer upset concerning misplaced coats and jackets is a thing of the past.
Tamlyn Thompson, director of IDScan, says: "We are thrilled to be able to launch the world's first biometric cloakroom and lost property management system. Gone are the days of lost cloakroom tickets, stolen property, fraudulent receipts and the associated ongoing costs to venues. It takes only one second for Cloakscan to scan the customer's fingerprint, capture a video image and issue an optional VAT receipt."
Not only is the Cloakscan System reassuring for customers, but staff also benefit. They have complete control over the property in their care. It enables them to do their job confidently and safely. Thanks to the latest touch-screen technology, it is quick and easy to process each item. Multiple users can log on at the same time, enabling large establishments to link cloakroom information.
Bakers Lounge Bar and Nightclub in Southend-on-Sea is the world's first venue to use the system. General manager, Ian Thomas, says: "Even in the height of the summer, we had at least one customer per night with a lost coat receipt. Our policy is that the customer must wait until the end of the night to recover their item. You can imagine how agitated and frustrated some customers can become. "Since installing Cloakscan we have not had a single incident. Plus revenue has gone up as customers are more confident about leaving their valuable items in the cloakroom."
The unique biometric software can also produce reports and graphics - so managers are able to keep track of exactly how many items are stored on their premises and where they are located. This information is crucial for insurance claims.
Cloakscan allows variable pricing structures, recognising different items. It can also read and store promotional codes to offer privileges and discounts - making it a useful marketing tool.
Cloakscan can be purchased as a software product for £999 or rented as a fully supported package with all hardware, full training, free upgrades and installation from £22.50 per week.
